Fragrant and loaded with finesse, the stunning 2019 Brunello from Giuseppe Gorelli offers enticing Sangiovese aromas of blue flower, forest berry, camphor and underbrush underpinned by exotic brown spice. Smooth and delicious, the elegant palate delivers juicy red cherry, raspberry tart, baking spice and crushed mint alongside taut, polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it vibrant and lends tension while a hint of licorice lingers on the finish. What a gorgeous wine.
Ultra-traditional, ultra-delicious Sangiovese from a guy who will absolutely be considered a “cult” Brunello producer soon. This is a serious bottle, it needs a few hours of decanting, but when it gets going WOW is it delicious. Fairly full-bodied, jam packed with ripe red and black fruit, hints of smoke and forest floor. The texture is outstanding and the wine goes on forever. One of my favorite new additions to the shop. - M.A.

Manhattan and Queens delivery is $25, or free for orders over $320.
For our local customers (within 0.5 miles of our shop) orders over $95 qualify for free delivery.
An adult over the age of 21 must be present to receive and sign for all deliveries (front desk attendants and doormen qualify but may be asked for ID).
For wine delivery outside of New York we ship via common carrier.
We currently do not ship wine to the following states: AL, AR, CO, DE, GA, HI, IA, KS, KY, NC, MD, MS, MT, OK, PA, SD, UT, VT, WI.
