70% Bacchus, 30% Riesling - 13.5% abv
Tank 33 is made from a blend of Bacchus and Riesling grapes, grown from an organically farmed vineyard (not certified, but practising for the past 5 years) The vines run deep through red sandstone soil.
Directly pressed Riesling and 4 days maceration for the Bacchus, fermented and aged separately for one year in fibreglass tanks.
Made low intervention in the cellar. No fining, no filtration, 15 ml/g of sulfites added just before bottling.
Smells like spring time in a glass. On the palate the floral notes are dominant, but well balanced with the power of Riesling that we blended before bottling. A very friendly and aromatic wine. Best enjoyed within the hour of opening it.
You can pair tank 33 with a picnic in the park, sea bream, white meats and rich poultry, as well as asparagus and dishes in light cream sauces.
