Natural wine is a loose term but generally it refers to wines that are produced with grapes that are farmed with organic or Biodynamic practices. In the cellar, there is as little added or taken away from the wine as possible, often just a small addition of sulfur, in most cases this means less than 35ppm. By contrast, in so-called 'conventional' wines, there are nearly 100 different additives that can be used, and sulfur levels often exceed 100ppm. None of this is required to appear on wine labels. We do our best to learn about each of our winemakers' methods, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
