Georgian wines are some of the best-suited for a feast, whatever the size may be. In Georgia, the lines between white, orange, rose, and red are pretty blurry, but it's not that important since nearly any of these vinous colors have evolved over the millennia to pair marvelously with meals of diverse flavors, spices, and textures. Thanksgiving is also great when accompanied by Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel, to be sure — but if you want to imbue your Thanksgiving with the wines of a culture that knows how to feast, live, and survive the turmoils of the ages better than almost any other, the wines below are the wines you need to soak up a little of the Georgian spirit we all need right now.
