Alsatian Inspiration: Christian Binner
In a world where natural wine is beginning a pivot from a small community of misfits into the big business of "wellness" it's important that we're not just promoting wines that sell quickly because of social media, promise to give you less of a hangover, or won't interfere with your keto diet. Christian Binner's wines may in fact be capable of fulfilling all of those promises, which is nice, but we're far more impressed when someone like him has been pushing boundaries for decades and is now leveraging his own privileges and abilities to help build a positive community. Christian has made it so others can join in the fun, creating meaningful work and sharing beautiful wines. It's this spirit that we want to support year after year, and it's really easy to do that when the wines are so good year after year, too.
