DIRECT PRESS DECEMBER 2025/JANUARY 2026: JURA, BUGEY, SAVOIE
Tucked into the Alpine foothills of eastern France, these three regions are hours apart but typically get grouped together despite their differences. While the Jura has long been famous for its proudly idiosyncratic ways, Bugey and Savoie have had a longer road towards gaining international respect. They used to be seen as simple wines for après-ski, but that is far from the truth these days.
We dive into the history of all three regions and curated a collection of wines that showcase the regional quirks along with the sleek, Alpine refreshment. This group of wines easily transcends their association with Après-ski, Raclette, and Comté — but don't a cliché stop you from having a good time.
