Romain Vergers is a native of Anjou - the wine producing region where he continues to live and work. A naturalist through and through, he worked in a garden nursery cultivating plants and vines for many years while he also helped out with the family vines. The 'Rougelin Pourpré' is 100% Grolleau Noir made from 70-year old vines. The grapes are fermented whole-cluster for a month before pressing yielding a medium-bodied red that is equal parts wild and fresh. The core of the palate is a savory mix of earthiness, herbal grip, and tart red berry fruit. Enjoyed chilled or at room temperature and appropriate for any occasion. No sulfites added. Our daily delivery window is 2pm to 6pm and customers will receive real-time notifications.

For wine delivery outside of New York we ship via common carrier.
