Pinelli's unfortified, late-harvest Muscat is a sweet version; it's quite decadent and made for cheese courses or after-dinner satiation. Though it is rich and silky it has great acidity and a medicinal, sassafrass quality hidden beneath all the plush golden nectar. [Jonathan Kemp, October 2021]
Marie-Charlotte Pinelli is a third generation winemaker in her family from Corsica. Her father and grandfather taught her that great wine is made in the vineyard. This drove her to obtain "AB organic certification" the same day she planted 3.5 hectares of new vines (Nielluciu, Sciaccarellu, and Vermentinu). Along with some older plantings of Muscat for her dessert wines, the entirety of her estate is just 5 hectares in total. [Alex Alan, December 2021]
